Meet Amber Bonner
Running for school board 2025
Amber Bonner is a Utah County native, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School and Brigham Young University. She and her husband, Dave, have seven children and have lived in Cedar Hills for 25 years. As her children attended their local Alpine District schools, Amber has been involved at individual school level, serving in SCCs and PTAs, the district level, serving as the ASD Board member over the LPHS area from 2019-2022, and at the state level, serving on committees with USBE. Two of her children are currently attending ASD schools, and she wants their schools to be exceptional. Amber has a passion for education and has been a volunteer in our community for over 20 years. Amber is proficient in state educational law, current district policy, and educational finance. She has ongoing relationships with current board members, candidates running in the new districts, and a majority of the city and state elected officials in the area. Her expertise makes Amber uniquely qualified to guide the establishment of a new school district. This will be a challenging process, but there are exciting possibilities for our students and teachers. Amber's experience will help make Aspen Peaks District successful from the very beginning.
