Meet Amber Bonner

Running for school board 2025

Amber Bonner is a Utah County native, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School (go Vikings!) and Brigham Young University. She and her husband, Dave, have seven children and have lived in Cedar Hills for more than 20 years. As her children have attended their local Alpine District schools, Amber has had the opportunity to be very involved in schools from an individual school level up to the district level. Two of her children are currently attending ASD schools, and she wants their schools to be exceptional. Amber has a passion for education and for helping children and has been involved in the community in many ways over the last 20 years. Amber is very familiar with state law, current district policy, practices, and the budget. She also has ongoing relationships with the current board members (who will stay in office for two more years), several of the candidates running in all three areas, and many of the city and state elected officials in the area. This makes her uniquely qualified to help direct the setting up of the new district.
